Scientists are taking smart phones to a whole new level.
Someday your surgeon could perform intricate procedures using smart gloves.
Scientists at Northwestern and the University of Illinois have created an electronic finger cuff that can be used in ablation surgeries, ultrasounds and other medical procedures.
The fingertip device could also be fitted with sensors to measure motion and monitor temperatures.
The challenge now is to figure out how to power the surgical gloves with wireless capability.
