Back-to-school birth certificates available at City Hall

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

It's back-to-school time again. That means many of you will need birth certificates for your children. Birth certificates are available at City Hall, just inside the East entrance, at 1625-13th Street from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

There is a $23.00 charge for each birth certificate, cash or credit cards only.

Please note: Birth Certificates are no longer available at the Health Department. For more information, please call (806) 775-2926.

Parents with students entering LISD for the first time should bring a copy of their child's original birth certificate, proof of residency, the child's social security card/number and a current shot record.
