Researchers find a grocery store item to boost fertility

Posted: Updated:

Something new in the fight to boost fertility, and this you can find at the grocery store, walnuts.  A new study out of UCLA looked at more than a hundred men who followed a normal diet. Half were told to eat 75 grams of walnuts a day. The other half were told to stay away from walnuts. After twelve weeks, those who had been eating walnuts had healthier sperm with fewer abnormalities. True....the money for this study came from a donation from the California Walnut Commission.  But researchers at UCLA plan to continue the study.  That will help determine if that confirms that men who eat walnuts can boost the quality of their sperm and improve their chance of fathering a child.
