Woman gets 18 months for Wells Fargo identity theft scheme
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Juquetia Chiles pleaded guilty earlier this year for her part in an identity theft scheme. She now knows her sentence. Chiles learned Friday that she'll have to spend 18 months in prison.
She admits that the worked in the Lubbock call center for Wells Fargo Bank. She says in court records that her boyfriend, Ashley Jerome Carter, made her get customer information under threat of getting beat in an abusive relationship.
Wells Fargo says all the customers involved got their money back.
