Government, Post Office, City Services Closed Friday

Friday is a national day of mourning.

The federal government will close, and trading on Wall Street will be suspended. There will also be no mail service.

City offices here in Lubbock will also be closed. Emergency services will continue. However, any boards and commissions meetings will be rescheduled. City offices will reopen Monday at 8 a.m.

Texas Tech University has also cancelled classes this Friday. Classes resume on Monday.
