Building a Better Lubbock sponsored by Xcel Energy

NewsChannel 11 and Xcel Energy care about the communities in which we work, live and serve.

Through the Xcel Energy Foundation, Xcel Energy gives back to Lubbock and the South Plains by supporting several non-profits in the areas of building stronger communities, education and arts and culture. They work to build healthier, stronger communities that are able to provide safe, affordable housing and economic opportunities for all citizens. They support math, science and economic education programs for students in kindergarten through college. And, they support efforts to increase accessibility to artistic and cultural activities that enable all members of our communities to participate in the arts.

Check out the websites of these non-profit organizations and others in your community. You can get involved too.
