Congressman Stenholm Recalls Working With Reagan

Congressman Charlie Stenholm attended funeral services Friday morning in Washington D.C. for former President Ronald Reagan.

NewsChannel 11 spoke with the Texas Representative about the ceremony when he arrived at the Lubbock International Airport Friday afternoon. Congressman Stenholm looked back at the years he says he was privileged to work with Reagan.

"Standing there in the rotunda in front of his flag draped coffin, I couldn't help but remember being there in Jan of 1981 watching him being sworn in as President."

Congressman Stenholm went on to say that the former president was truly a great communicator.
