Controlled Burn Gets Out of Control - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Early Friday, several tires caught fire creating quite a stir over what was supposed to have been a controlled burn.

Roosevelt and Idalou fire crews were called to the fire at 4118 East 2nd Street around 2:30p.m. It took most of the afternoon to cool down the hot spots and completely smother the blaze.
