Lubbock State School Celebrates 35 Years

The Lubbock State School is celebrating 35 years of service this month, and a family picnic was held as part of Saturday's celebration.

The school serves 54 counties and houses about 350 residents with mental retardation or developmental disabilities -- but serves an area greater than just Lubbock.
