Isaac unlikely to bring rain to South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Isaac will not increase our rain chances, just the opposite.

The size and location of Isaac will keep us in the northeast flow which in turn will keep temps uniform around 90 degrees in the afternoon and also pull some of the moisture out of the area.

That means that rain chances will be lower for us this week and temps will not increase significantly until later in the week when Isaac will be weakening and on land.
