City offices closed for Labor Day holiday

From City of Lubbock:

City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, September 3, 2012 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 4.  

Additionally, there will be no dumpster trash collection on Monday, September 3.  Monday's normally scheduled dumpster trash collection will take place on Tuesday, and Tuesday's normally scheduled dumpster trash collection will be moved to Wednesday.  

Residents with cart trash collection service will receive cart trash collection on Thursday, September 6.  

The City of Lubbock drop-off Recycling Centers and Citizen Collection Stations at 1631 84th Street and 208 Municipal Drive will also be closed on Monday, September 3.   

The Caliche Canyon Landfill located at 8425 N. Avenue P, Lubbock, TX will be open during regular business hours, 8:00 am to 12 noon, on Saturday, September 1.  

The West Texas Region Disposal Facility located at 17304 N. FM 2528, Abernathy, TX will be open during regular business hours, 7:00 am to 12 noon, on Saturday, September 1.   Both facilities will be closed on Monday, September 3, in observance of the holiday.  

Emergency services will continue without interruption.
