LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
The Lubbock Parks and Rec Board gave tentative approval last week to a new wall ball facility in Maxey Park. Southwest Little League will present the city with specific plans before it is built. There had been a place for wall ball previously, but high winds took it down.
Wall ball is a game wherein kids throw tennis ball against a wall and then try to catch it on the bounce. The city says Southwest Little League will gather donated materials for the wall ball facility.
