Wish list for Lubbock subject of public meetings next week

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Do you think Lubbock needs a zoo?  How about a river-walk or a community college?   An initiative called "Imagine Lubbock Together" will hold four public meetings next week to get your ideas.  The initiative was started by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce as a way for average citizens to create a "wish list" of things that can be added to Lubbock, or things that can be improved in Lubbock.

KCBD.com covered the unveiling of "Imagine Lubbock Together" back in July.  Here's an update with the specific dates and times of the public meetings:

  • Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 6:30 PM, Irons Middle School
  • Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 9:30 AM, Lubbock Memorial Civic Center
  • Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 6:30 PM, Cavazos Middle School 210 University Ave.
