The man accused of two recent bank robberies in Lubbock was indicted in federal court on Wednesday.
A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted 33-year-old Oscar Ibarra on six counts of bank robbery, one count of attempted bank robbery, and one count of illegal re-entry after deportation.
Oscar and his brother Irad were arrested in early June after robbing a bank in Abilene. Soon after, Oscar admitted to robbing the two banks in Lubbock, as well as a bank in Big Spring, and four in Odessa. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 160 years in prison.
