Red Raiders roll on the road 58-10

SAN MARCOS, TX (KCBD) -

Getting their first road test visiting Texas State in San Marcos, the Red Raiders passed with flying colors. Texas Tech racked up over 591 yards of offense for the 2nd straight game as they routed the Bobcats 58-10.

Seth Doege was 25 of 32 for 319 yards and 5 touchdowns (2 to Darrin Moore, 1 to Jace Amaro, Alex Torres and Javon Bell) as the Red Raiders opened up a 38-10 lead, silencing the sell-out crowd that was christening Texas State's new stadium.

The Red Raiders defense got things started as Cody Davis returned an interception 85 yards to start the scoring.  Doege then threw back to back touchdowns to Moore, who was back after a 1-game suspension and the rout was on.

13 different Red Raider receivers caught a pass in the game.

The 2-0 Red Raiders now come back home and host New Mexico next Saturday at 6 p.m.

KCBD NewsChannel 11 Sports is in San Marcos with the team and will have complete coverage tonight and Sunday on the News at 10.
