2 new cases of West Nile reported in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Health Department reported two new cases of West Nile in Lubbock on Tuesday, bringing the total to six within the city.

The health department says two women over the age of 50 have the neuro-invasive strain of the virus, and these two people have not been outside Lubbock County in the last two weeks before coming down with symptoms.
