LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
County commissioners approved a rate hike for Lubbock County on Monday, and now, another tax hike could be coming for Lubbock residents.
Thursday, the city council is meeting to consider a tax increase that would raise taxes by about $18 dollars a year.
So if you live in the city, you will pay about $42 more dollars a year in combined taxes.
A final public hearing for the city budget is scheduled for Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the city council chambers.
