Driver fights, bites bystanders after one-car rollover

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A car accident turned into a bizarre fight scene Wednesday afternoon when police responded to a one-car rollover near North Loop and the Interstate.

When they got there, they found two bystanders wrestling with a man who flipped his car.

Police say the man told them he was on ecstasy.

The two bystanders had been following him and said he was driving erratically.

Both bystanders were wounded in their fight with the driver, receiving several bite marks in the process.

They were treated on the scene, while the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
