Three people were taken to the hospital after a collision in southeast Lubbock on Friday night.
The trucks collided near 98th St. and MLK Boulevard around 2:15 Saturday morning. DPS says 24 year-old Jimmie Ray Brooks of Slaton ran a stop sign and collided with the green pickup.
Brooks and the two people in the other truck, 51 year-old Beverly Burleson and 47 year-old Randy Houk were treated and released from University Medical Center. DPS says alcohol was involved and Brooks was charged with driving while intoxicated.
