If you like beans, blueberries, and artichokes, you're in luck. Those power foods are at the top of the list of disease fighters according to a new USDA study.
The government has developed a list of foods containing high levels of disease fighting antioxidants. Other groceries that get a gold star include cranberries, russet potatoes, pecans, and even spices like cinnamon, cloves, and oregano.
The study marks the first comprehensive listing of antioxidants in foods and spices, and the USDA plans to add the antioxidant info to its food nutrition database over the next few months.
