Littlefield PD, FBI investigate bank robbery

LITTLEFIELD, TX (KCBD) -

Littlefield Police and the FBI are investigating the robbery of First Federal Bank on Friday.

"We did have a bank robbery approximately 2 o'clock," said Police Chief Abel Cantu. "And we do have a suspect in custody, federal custody.  He's been charged with bank robbery."

"We're still investigating this case. That's about all I can tell you," Cantu said.  

KCBD Newschannel 11 has learned that the FBI took Billy Ray Wood, 18, of Littlefield into custody.  He is currently held in the Lubbock County Jail.
