A former City of Lubbock official will go to trial on a charge of indecency with a child.

Mark Keefer is accused of inappropriately kissing a child last April. According to a police report, another person witnessed the incident and called authorities. The 42-year-old was indicted by a Lubbock Grand Jury Tuesday.
