According to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, every four minutes, someone in North America is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Every ten minutes someone dies from blood cancer. It sounds grim, but actually researchers are making great strides.  They are saving many more patients than ever before. September is Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Awareness Month.  Our guest is Dr. Jose Cruz, a Hematologist and Oncologist at Covenant.
