Heavy rains sweep across South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Rain will be working its way back into all of the South Plains through the evening.

Heavy rain has been occurring to the south of Lubbock through the day and is now moving to the north and northeast.

Rain will start out light then become moderate with the potential of heavier rainfall late tonight through tomorrow morning. Temps will remain between 65-70 thru the evening, but will drop to the 50 tomorrow morning.

Rain will begin to decrease by mid-day tomorrow.
