WTHBA hosts Fall Tour of Homes

Provided by WTHBA

The West Texas Home Builders Association is proud to host this year's Fall Tour of Homes.

The tour, which began last weekend, wraps up this Sunday, September 30th.  Admission is free but online donations to Lubbock Homes for Heroes are encouraged. The charity was established by the WTHBA to build homes in our area for deserving men and women who have served our country, state and city and were injured in the line of duty.

There are 16 homes available for touring this weekend located all over town, but primarily in Southwest Lubbock. A map of the locations was printed in last Saturday's Avalanche Journal for your convenience and copies of it are available at each home.  Viewers can start at any home and tour the ones that interest them. Be sure and visit the website at LubbockFallTourofHomes.com to see front elevations, builder information and home descriptions as well as to print out your own map. The website also serves as a mobile app, so you can navigate the tour with ease your smart phone or iPad.

The homes feature some of Lubbock's finest builders with prices ranging from $170-650's. Open for touring from 1-5pm this Saturday and Sunday, there is something for everyone at this year's Fall Tour of Homes!

Chair of the 2012 Fall Tour of Homes, local builder Jordan Wheatley said, "This year's tour boasts a wide variety of homes and floor plans spanning several great local communities in every price range. Many homes feature the latest technology, design and appliances. Whether you are currently in the market to buy a home, think you might be in the near future, or just want to get some ideas for your own home, this year's Fall Tour is for you. And with free admission, it makes for a fun afternoon."

Jordan Wheatley will also be the Chair for the 2013 Parade of Homes. He is available for interviews regarding the Fall Tour this week. Please call me to make arrangements.

Lubbock's Fall Tour of Homes is sponsored by Atmos Energy, Southwest Bank and Title One.
