Backed by the #1 defense in the Nation, the Red Raiders went on the road and knocked off Iowa State 24-13 in the Big 12 opener.
Causing 3 turnovers, The chain gang Red Raider defense allowed only 189 yards, just 73 via the air.
Shaking off 2 interceptions, Seth Doege threw 3 touchdown passes, two in the second half to break a 7-7 tie. Doege finished 30 of 46 for 331 yards.
The Red Raiders #2 offense had struggled early as Doege's first interception was returned 87 yards by A.J. Klein for a touchdown.
Tech finished with 495 yards of total offense.
Now 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the Conference, the Red Raiders next host Oklahoma 2:30 next Saturday.
