Suspect Jailed After Evading Lubbock Police On High School Roof - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The man who evaded Lubbock Police by climbing onto the roof of Estacado High School Thursday, is in jail Friday. Andre Lewis is charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation and one count of evading arrest.

Police say Lewis broke into two apartments at the Windcrest Estacado Complex which is located at 512 North MLK. He then fled to the roof of Estacado High School, taking a knife with him.

Lewis was finally taken into custody, after police fired a bean bag at him with a shotgun.
