LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Tuesday at 12:04 p.m., Lubbock police received a call from a women at the Cricket Courts Apartments who claimed a woman had thrown lighter fluid on her and tried to set her on fire.
The victim told police the woman entered her apartment and attempted to light her on fire but was not successful. The victim said she knows the woman who attacked her.
Police said they have identified the alleged assailant but had not yet located the suspect as of 4 p.m.
