Zoos are full of animals that like the cold, so when snow descends on a zoo that houses animals that can tolerate the cold weather, we get a gift in the form of animals flipping out over snow.

This great land of ours turned 238 years old Friday. What do you get an old lady who has seen it all, done it all and lived to tell the story according to her own narrative? The answer, obviously, is a rapping George Washington.

(RNN) - As much mud and criticism that has flown around during this presidential election, there have also been a lot of humorous moments.

Those moments have come at a cost, however. The Republican side has been characterized as out of touch, elitist and robotic.

Hogwash, we say. There's a side to both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan no one has seen. As a matter of fact, Ryan is more than willing to open up to people on a one-on-one basis and share his innermost feelings.

Just watch and find out for yourself …

ALL HE NEEDS IS A CAPE

OK, maybe that was not the best example. Still, you have to admit that the vice presidential hopeful made some valid points. No? Well then, we'll redeem ourselves with an impressive video about Romney.

For those of you who don't believe he can change the country's fortunes, take comfort in the fact that he can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Now, who wouldn't want a president with his own action figure?

JUST LIKE YOU … EXCEPT RICH

Strike two. Listen, we're going to get it right this time. We'll look past all the Big Bird jokes and the "47 percent" rhetoric and show you a man you can really relate to.

As John Madden would say, "Now here's a guy who gets it. He can get elected, take office and boom! He scores a touchdown for the American economy."

See, John Madden is on board. Why isn't everyone else? We're guessing they will be after they see this:

SONG BATTLE FOR THE PRESIDENCY

Strike out. Folks, this is not an exact science, but give us credit for taking an honest shot.

By the way, we hear some other guy is also running for president. Romney engaged in a nationally televised verbal battle with him pretty recently, and one man got trounced – Jim Lehrer.

Poor Jim. See, that's exactly why PBS should not only live on, the government should give it more money. If Count von Count were the moderator, President Obama and Romney never would have gone over time … "Three, ah ah. Two, ah ah…"

At any rate, the debate would have gone a lot better for Lehrer had he taken this approach:

APPLE FAILS … ON PURPOSE?

Clearly, we are all having a hard time finding something to agree on, so let's end this with something that is mutually frightening to all of us: trying to navigate a trip using Apple Maps.

According to this filmmaker, the least useful feature on the new iPhone 5 is neither a colossal failure nor an embarrassment for the world's most successful technology company.

In fact, it was a well-planned artistic endeavor designed to draw tons of publicity to Steve Jobs', uhhh we mean, Tim Cook's company.

Judging by the results, the plan worked. Good job, Apple. You can sue the pants off Samsung for doing something almost every other tech company does, but you can't tell people how to get to some of the world's most well-known landmarks.
