Police Investigate Shooting - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A 23-year-old man is in satisfactory condition after being shot in the stomach. Police say the man was carrying a gun when he walked into the house at 6315 28th Street. Once inside, he got into a fight with 18-year-old Wesley York. The gun dropped to the floor during the fight, so York picked it up and shot the man.

The victim underwent emergency surgery at Covenant Medical Center. No charges have been filed and the case remains under investigation.
