Rangers lose to Orioles 5-1

The Texas Rangers bid for a third straight World Series appearance ended on Friday night. The Texas Rangers were defeated by the Baltimore Orioles by a final score of 5-1. Yu Darvish pitched 6.2 innings. Darvish only gave up 5 hits, but the Texas bats went silent once again.

The Texas Rangers finished the regular season with a 93-69 record. The Rangers spent 178 days in 1st place before losing the division to the Oakland Athletics on the final day of the season.
