The Wayland Baptist Men's and Women's Wrestling teams made a six mile run though Palo Duro Canyon on Thursday.
And it was all for a good cause.
Around 60 wrestlers ran to raise funds for both the Wounded Warrior Project and the Honor Flight Network.
Jesse Vonbehren participated in the race and says she has a personal connection to it.
"My cousin is actually a wounded warrior," Vonbehren said. "And she competes in all the games. so, it kind of hits home for me and it's a really great cause."
This is the third time Wayland Baptist has raised funds for the military, and veterans organizations.
The team donated $500 to these organizations last year, and hope to raise even more money this year.
