The popular supplement Ginkgo Biloba has long been regarded by many as a natural way to improve the memory. But recently, the largest and longest scientific study on this came back with discouraging news...that it does nothing when it comes to memory skills.
So, what if you're like many who've been taking that supplement, and you think it's helping? Dr. Bradley Miller said, "even if medical science can't back it up, if it's working, it's working. And keep taking it if it doesn't seem to have a harmful side. And it may be that the study looked at people too late when the damage was already done. It may be that taking ginkgo earlier for longer periods of time does help."
Dr. Miller says if you're taking Gingko Biloba and think it works, talk to your doctor about it first before you change your program. Your doctor should know anyway what you're taking whether it's from drugs to supplements.
