Suspect in Lubbock teacher mugging arrested

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Jackie Dustin Parker, 26, was identified as the suspect in the robbery at Maedgen Elementary School and an arrest warrant was issued on October 10th. 

Parker turned himself in to the Lubbock Police Department on October 12th and was arrested. He is charged with Robbery. 

Police say Parker grabbed the teacher's purse, dragged her over to a concrete area and snatched the purse. During the struggle, the teacher hit her head on concrete and suffered some other minor injuries.
