Even as late as yesterday, one more case of West Nile Virus was identified in Lubbock County. It's a reminder to the rest of us that we're not out of the woods yet. Overall this year, there have been more than 2600 confirmed cases of West Nile and 118 deaths. This has been the worst outbreak ever in this country. He is an infectious disease specialist at Texas Tech from the Department of Family Medicine.
