St. Joseph School holds 43rd Annual Sausage Festival in Slaton

SLATON, TX (KCBD) -

St. Joseph School in Slaton held their 43rd Annual Sausage Festival this weekend, starting with a sale on Saturday, concluding with a dinner and Fun Fest events on Sunday.

Hungry diners gathered for German sausage, sauerkraut, famous Knights of Columbus grilled chicken, German potato salad and green beans - along with homemade cakes and bread

Events included games for all ages, live and silent auctions, Bingo, the quilting show, kid's bouncers and rock wall - a Country Store, a mini-bazaar along with raffles for hand-made quilts and a cedar chest.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the St. Joseph Catholic School.
