3 shot at Marshall Street party; suspect in custody

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

18-year-old Jaquan Ward has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that sent three people to the hospital early Saturday morning.

Police say the victims were attending a party in the 5400 block of Marshall Street when a fight broke out. The shootings occurred around 2:15 a.m. All three victims were taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirm that Ward is in custody, charged with Aggravated Assault.
