9-Year-Old Girl in Stable Condition After Being Hit by SUV

The condition of a Lubbock 9-year-old is improving after being hit by an SUV. The accident happened Thursday night around 6:30 in the 2500 block of 35th street. Police say the girl was riding her bike when she crossed the street in front of the SUV.

EMS took her to University Medical Center with serious injuries but she has since been upgraded to satisfactory condition.
