If your little trick-or-treaters would rather have cash than candy, Wentz Orthodontics is again providing that option the day after Halloween. Dr. Ed Wentz said, "It will give the kids an opportunity to give back to the community. And as far as the orthodontic part, we hope that will help them keep their teeth nice and clean, and keep their braces from breaking off."
The idea is kids get a dollar per pound of candy that they bring to Dr. Wentz's office the day after Halloween. In the 15 years of that annual candy buy back, Dr. Wentz and his team have collected an average of 200 pounds of candy every year to give to the South Plains Food Bank. The candy buy back will be Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 at Wentz Orthodontics.
