World Renowned Tenor visiting Lubbock to benefit Operation Hope

Posted: Updated:

Ronan Tynan was originally an orthopedic surgeon.  After many years, he turned his focus to a new career, and he became a singer.  That's what brings this world renowned tenor to Lubbock...in a performance honoring our military. Here to talk about that concert is Dr. John Thomas, the founder of Operation Hope, which is the group that organized this concert, and retired Army General Bernie Mittemeyer joins us today.  Dr. Mittemeyer serves as a representative of the South Plains Honor Flight since this concert will raise money for that too.

The concert is on Friday, November 9th, at 7:00pm at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. To purchase tickets, call (806) 770-2000, or go to www.selectaseat.com.
