All Saints Episcopal School to honor veterans

Special guests from Lubbock's recent Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. will speak at All Saints Episcopal School's Veterans Day Assembly on November 12 at 8 a.m. in the Hanslik Gym on the All Saints campus, 3222 103rd Street.

Karin McCay, anchor of KCBD NewsChannel11, and Phil Crenshaw, distinguished World War II veteran, who traveled with the Honor Flight, will speak at the All Saints Veterans Day Assembly about the trip and what it meant to area veterans.

Other special guests will include the Lubbock High School ROTC Drill Team who will present the flags and perform. All area veterans are welcome to attend.

The All Saints choir will perform.  The assembly has been researched and planned by the Freshman Class.  They will preside over the event.                 

All Saints is one of the few schools in the area that continues to present a Veterans Day program. All members of the Lubbock community are invited to attend this assembly.          

Guests are invited to a reception immediately following the assembly in Hanslik Gym.  

All area veterans are welcome to attend. The Lubbock High School ROTC Drill Team will present the flags and perform.
