Mrs Baird’s, United Supermarkets award Teachers On The Rise honors

WHAT

Three deserving teachers have been chosen as the Teachers On The Rise winners for October. A surprise presentation for two of the teachers is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2. The third presentation date is pending.

Teachers On The Rise is a new program in the South Plains that recognizes teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty. This student nominated program seeks to honor teachers who truly make a positive impact on their students.

Throughout the entire school year, Mrs Baird's along with United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, 102.5 KISS-FM, and KOOL 98-FM will present three monthly winners (elementary, middle school/junior high, and high school) with great prizes totaling more than $200 each.

WHO

Mrs Baird's, United Supermarkets representatives, winning teachers, nominating students, school principals and more will be available for photos and interviews.
