From Texas Tech Athletics:

Texas Tech women's basketball announced on Friday that junior forward Shauntal Nobles will be out indefinitely after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Shauntal and her family during this time," Tech head coach Kristy Curry said. "We certainly are going to be here with her every step of the way while she undergoes treatment and are hopeful that she will be able to return to the team when she is ready."

Nobles will undergo aggressive treatments for the next few weeks but is expected to make a full recovery. For more information on Guillain-Barré Syndrome, you can visit http://www.ninds.nih.gov.
