Holiday Extravaganza raising money for Bridge of Lubbock

Provided by Community Christian Church

Community Christian Church will host their annual Holiday Extravaganza fundraiser on Nov. 2nd and 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3417 96th Street.

Holiday Extravaganza will have a bake sale, gift baskets, food baskets, and other seasonal decorations. The proceeds from the Holiday Extravaganza will benefit The Bridge of Lubbock, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, and Simple Acts Prison Ministry.

Every year the members of Community Christian Church come together to put on this incredible event. The members of the church meet weekly the entire year collecting gift items, putting together gift baskets, and decorating wreaths. The items at this event will make a great gift for friends and family while helping three local charities.

"Since the Bridge of Lubbock is privately funded, the Holiday Extravaganza will provide a key source of revenue so that we can continue to provide assistance to at-risk youth and their families in the east Lubbock community," Director of Operations of The Bridge of Lubbock, Ashley Osborne said.

Fundraisers such as the Holiday Extravaganza are an integral part in the continuation of The Bridge of Lubbock's outreach. "This event is a true blessing for our outreach, by allowing our youth of this community to continue to have a place to grow and be mentored. Also, it allows us to keep our clothing closet open to those who are in need," said Director of Outreach, Ashlei Watson.

We welcome all to attend the Holiday Extravaganza at Community Christian Church. The event is a great way to do some early Christmas shopping while helping three incredible organizations!

The Bridge of Lubbock is a privately funded non-profit organization in east Lubbock looking to restore the foundation of hope in the community. For more information about The Bridge of Lubbock and their outreach call (806) 687-0772 or visit their website at
