Drainage Project to Cause Traffic Delays

Road work may force traffic delays in parts of Lubbock this week. On Tuesday, TX-DOT will start a drainage project on Slide Road between 76th and 77th streets.

Crews will build a low-water crossing to improve drainage in the area. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The project should be complete by early August.
