Pet Alligator Makes Its Way Back To Lubbock Home

A Lubbock alligator owner has found his pet. Cujo the alligator was sunbathing inside his gated yard on East Second Street when it disappeared last Wednesday. The owners were concerned Cujo may have been stolen as his mouth was taped up to keep him from biting anyone. Now, they think he simply wandered off and came home because he was hungry.

"I guess it was about three or four days, I guess he got hungry, my dad woke up Saturday morning and said he was outside. The alligator came back home," said George Hartfield, Cujo's owner.

Cujo returned to the exact same spot where he left, with the tape on his mouth in-tact.
