The #23 Texas Tech Red Raiders were manhandled by #24 Oklahoma State on Saturday 59-21.
The Red Raiders were looking to avenge their 66-6 loss last year to the Cowboys in Lubbock, but Oklahoma State picked up right where they left off last year.
The Oklahoma State defense had Doege running for his life all day. They were able to put intense pressure on the senior quarterback all afternoon.
The Oklahoma State offense was on fire in the air and on the ground. The Cowboy offense put up 333 yards of offense along with 35 points in the first half.
The Texas Tech offense was held to numerous three and outs and committed 8 penalties for 70 yards.
The loss will most likely drop the Red Raiders out of the AP and BCS polls.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are now in the driver's seat to clinch a berth at the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.
The Red Raiders are favorites to land in the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl in Tempe, Arizona.
The Red Raiders fall to 4-4 in the Big 12 in 2012.
The Red Raiders will finish their season against the Baylor Bears next Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington at 1:30 p.m.
