After a difficult first half, the Lady Raiders defeated Lipscomb in their home opener 61-41 on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Raiders shot 25 percent in the first half, but overcame their poor shooting in the second half.
Texas Tech scored 23 points off 28 turnovers.
The Lady Raiders went on a 29-6 run in a 14-minute span to ice the game away.
Monique Smalls scored a game-high 14 points and hit three of her career-high four 3-pointers in the second half.
The win marked the seventh consecutive home opener win for head coach Kristy Curry, who won her 290th game overall.
Next up for the Lady Raiders, the Basketball Travlers Invitational where it will play host to Southern Utah on Friday.
