A Lubbock lawyer has been hired to represent some of the victims of the Midland train tragedy. Kevin Glasheen, with Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP, held a press conference at 11 a.m. Monday to discuss the lawsuits in Midland.
Bob Potroff out of Manhattan, Kansas is also on the case. Potroff is considered the top railroad and accident attorney in the country.
During the press conference, Glasheen said, no lawsuits have been filed at this time. They plan to work with the NTSB, Union Pacific and the trucking to company to compile all the evidence. They hope all parties involved cooperate in preserving the evidence.
The two attorney's are no stranger to railroad crossing accident cases. Glasheen has two of the largest jury verdicts in Texas, including a $65 million verdict and a $46 million verdict.
