Lubbock businesses have two weeks to comply with the no-smoking ordinance.

By July 22nd, all Lubbock restaurants and other venues must be smoke-free. In order to have smoking inside a public place, a ventilation system must be installed to filter the smoke and the smoking area must be completely enclosed.
